Loud fan

I have an 07 BMW 328xi and the engine fan
constantly runs really loud. It’s quite and
sounds normal when I first start it and up to 5
miles of driving it then it gets very loud like
it’s over heating.  every time I’m on the
highway or going high speed at a continuous
rate, the temperature warning light comes on.

I would put my money on water pump starting to fail. I have the same issue with my 335i and after doing a diagnostic scan, it gave me a code that the water pump was failing..
