CAR NOT STARTING 2007 BMW 328i

When I put they key fob in, all the lights turn
on then when I try to start the car the lights
just turn back off. It don’t even click over! Any
ideas someone please help. I have a starter
relay on hand as well may that be the
problem? If so please tell me where to locate
it
