Seat wiring for a 1991 535i

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hello, I just bought heated ,powered seats from a 1991 535i that I am planning to
put in a 1973 Volkswagen Van that I am rewiring/rebuilding and am having
trouble finding specific wiring schema for the seat connectors. Specifically which
wires are power-ground-sensor etc.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

http://wedophones.com/BMWManualsLead.htm scroll down and download the ETM for a 91 5 series, it has info on power seats and heated seats. hth
Thanks Paul, Sorry, I should have been a clearer. I had found the ETM but need specific wire colours. I think that the schematic tells me that there is a 30 amp line for motor power and another 30 amp line for heat power. I think that it also shows that ground goes to chassis. I don't know which is which nor what colours they would be. What I am asking for specifically is a pin out configuration of the seat connectors with wire function and colours. I couldn't find this on the ETM. Cheers Tim
I see, The ETM has the colors of all the other wires lol. well I'm not sure then, my car is an e28 not e34 and has manual seats, but generally, the ground wires all seem to be brown. i'd ask on bimmerforums or something, or just ground the brown wires and try all the others and see what happens. The heater can't be too complicated, even if it has more than one level.
Thanks Paul, just knowing the ground colour is good, I will play with the rest. Cheere
