2002 BMW 525i battery and oil change code reset

Hello I just bought a 2002 BMW 525i sedan
and need to replace the motor oil and the
battery, the battery has swelled up from
freezing and needs a new one thank you to
anybody that responds.

The battery doesn't need to be registered in that model year, 2002. Just replace it. To reset your oil change reminder, there are lots of videos on youtube.
