bmw dashboard lights

Question type: General

The lights on my BMW are not fully functioning. They are missing some bars. How much would it cost to have this fix?

The FM reads TM
and numbers are missing some bars..

Please give advise..

Yah it looks like your MID ribbon cable is starting to fail. There are really two ways to do this one is to replace the MID which is expensive and the other is to take it apart yourself and replace the worn ribbon cable. Here is a how to guide http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/504260 Oh and FYI your instrument cluster will probably do the same thing down the road. Hope this helps
