What is an avatar photo and how do I take one?

You sent me an email recommending that I add an avatar photo to improve
response to my ad, but you don't link me to where to do that on your
website. I couldn't find it. It would make sense in the future when you send
an email like that to send the link directly so the customer can act on your
recommendation.
So what is an avatar photo and how do I take it and get it up on the side?

Pick a photo you like and post it as your avatar in your account. Mine is a 1962 Jaguar XKE.
