In case of battery failure. Turn master key to the left in luggage compartment lock clear to the stop. The luggage compartment will open.

if the lights were left on....and you had a screwdriver....you could trickle charge through the light bulb socket...a couple of hours until the automatic system has enough power to start wearin' a hat~

or jumpercable if you could get to the solenoid~
the trunk must open with the key mechanically, if the lock in the trunk is damaged you will need to take the grill on the drivers side and pull the cable manually and jump the car from the engine bay.
Hector: the cable was too hard to find. Even undismayed trunk lock doesn't open manually in my experience.
If the trunk is working properly it opens manual but you have to turn the key and maybe press a little bit harder than usual since the motor won't open the trunk just the force of your hand. From the hood if you take the grills out you'll have to l
I can't get into my car for 2days now the locks won't unlock in any direction at all. It used to make a clicking sound now it makes no sound at all

Just put your key in door key hole or at the back of the trunk then turn hard to the left NOT TO THE RIGHT it should be open ( trunk or door ) do the same thing it work . I open my BMW 530i when I had dead battery due to not driving 5 months.
