Need Recomendation for Local BMW Repair Shops in San Diego

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need to get some major repairs done to my transmission, and was quoted a very high price from my dealer in excess of $7,000. Was wondering if anyone has a recomendation for a independent service center or local repair shop that can handle BMW's? I live in the 92126 area of San Diego close to La Jolla also. The bmw is in the garage collecting dust until I rectify this situation with the cost.
