Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My driver seat has no power. BMW dealer said heated seat module in the seat is cracked
and causing the fuse to blow resulting in seat with no power. BMW dealer then tells me
the only options is to replace the whole seat for $1300. is there any other options out there
that aren't so expensive??

Thank you Tom, that helps a lot! Does anyone have any idea what kind of costs I should expect from this? I'm not much of a hands-on person especially when it comes to something like removing the leather from my seat.
I belive that module needs to be programmed to the vehicle so do watch out for that few independents can do programming.
