Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Totally lost my key in my 2006 525i. Went to the
dealership got a new key. Dealer told me to put the
key in the ignition and hold it for 20 seconds and
then it would sink it. I did that and it didn't work it
came up with a key with a line through it. Well let
me just back up the battery was dead so I fully
charge the battery it's still coming up with a key
with a line through it and it's yellow what should I
do
