2006 BMW 530i doing multiple weird things!!!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Here goes. I bought my car a few months ago and
everything seemed perfect! 2 months later and we found
out that it has such a bad leak that the entire floorboard in
the back passenger side becomes a puddle about 6 inches
deep and my back seat is now molding!! (Carseats were
back there so we didnt see the mold at first) We still cant
find where the leak is coming from though! NOW a couple
days ago the Break light came on and at the same time
the windshield wipers went nuts! They will not stop when
shut off or they randomly stop half way up! On top of that,
the back driverside window will roll itself done and once all
4 windows rolled completely down after car was shut off
and locked!! Please, I need soooo much help!! My husband
knows NOTHING about BMWs!! I am freaking out because
this car is my daily and I have my 2 kids with me almost
everytime I drive anywhere!!!

You need to find out where it's leaking and fix the leak. I'm guessing the rear window or the trunk. BMWs have a lot of electronics in the trunk. Sounds like something is getting wet, possibly the BCM, and causing it to go bonkers. I'd suggest going to a body shop and have them find and repair the leak. Hope that helps! Jim

the leak is coming from under the front hood on the passenger side junction box

leak is from sunroof drains, this happened to mine. Need to open sunroof and clear drains with air or something to stick down them and clear.
