why my car is not pick up as it should when prees pedal to accelerate to take off

my car is like kind of jerking or like hicups as am tring to press the pedal to
accelerate. its not pick up the speed as it should have, especially on slow
moving traffic.the transmission does not change smoothly.

START WITH A NEW FUEL FILTER AND CHECK FUEL PRESSURE ALSO ADD SOME zmax TO 1/3 TANK OF GAS..AND SEND US MORE INFO...
