Don't pay too much !! remember BMW parts are expensive If you buy it you will need to have the transmission serviced ( Fluid & filter changed don't go for a fluid flush ) to insure that the tranny will last another 100,000 miles

I would say no simply because maintenance on a BMW is big money. The stories you've likely heard about the costs are true. But if you've got a big fund put aside, I guess it is something to consider. However, if you had a big fund, why not buy a lower-mileage model?
