which to buy: 2001 740i sport or 2003 540i ??

Not sure which to look for in 2014. I have owned a e38 and a 530i

Both these vehicles are very similar in powertrain and electronics. So really you will be repairing the same issues on both. It comes down to which do you like more. Personally always liked the E39's better.
