When putting the vehicle into drive or reverse, it won't move. And automatic jumps back
into park.

You mention the clutch and the stick.mits an automatic. I would normally step on the brake, and then shift the lever to either drive or reverse.

Same thing happened to my 2005 bmw 530i. Its stopped last week going into reverse and now it wont move when it go into drive

Do you guys figure it out? I saw a YouTube video that said, when a new battery is replaced we need reprogram it pretty much? I haven’t tried it but will do hopefully tomorrow let me know if y’all found otherwise

Start your car and rev the engine over 3K rpm and it will allow you to place it in gear.

My 2007 BMW 750li won’t shift into gear either. Looked at the fluid found that is was completely low. The Transmission fault moderately light is on. Filled up the fluid and still won’t allow me to shift into a gear. You can also tell that it won’t to shift, but something is holding it back from doing so and placing it right bk into park. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and God bless!

I don't have the answer but my 2007 bmw 750i is doing the same. I can't put it into gear. It keeps jumping back to park. I did a transmission service, filled it with fluid and everything. Please help me

likely faulty igition coils. need to swap out all of majority of the coil at once
