What is the Easiest way to get the Steering wheel Rubber cover off?

I need to access the horn and air bag in the
steering wheel. What is the Easiest way to do that
and what are the chances of the air bag deploying?

(I know the actual horn itself is not in the steering
wheel)

you ever get to it? i’m thinking about getting a custom steering wheel made and need to know any complications on taking the entire wheel off and putting a new one on ?
