my c200 1998 model wont shift from gear 1 to 2 with ease especially on a hill what could be the problem?

are you talking about the automatic transmission or the stick shift.. ????? anyway,check fluids fill and or replace fluid /service...

Hi Kelly, i have done this over and over again but car wont change gears smoothly, its an automatic transmission and over revs to change to next gear, all this happens while on a hill and will change nicely on a slope or flat ground
