wheels and tires

Asked by kissit123 Jul 10, 2009 at 06:46 PM about the 2002 Mercedes-Benz SLK 32 AMG

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

staying with the same wheels that came with the car, can I put a bigger tire on the front, if so what would the seize be?

1 Answer

35

you can run the same size that you do in the fron it would be the same overall highth but a bit wider but it would look right unless you put a wider tire on the rear cause you car come from the factory with staggard wheels so i would run wider in the rear...but you have 350ish hp and i wouldnt suggest changing tire sized on stock rims but you could get much stickier tires such as nitto NT-05.falkin RT-615, ADVAN NEOVA AD08....
