2011 Escape Air Conditioning not Cooling

Asked by GuruSMHZW Jun 19, 2019 at 03:51 PM about the 2011 Ford Escape XLT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently started having issues with my AC blowing but not actually cooling,
it blows whatever temp it is outside. I checked and noticed the compressor
was not running. I was able to get it running again by jiggling some wiring but
that doesn't seem to be working anymore. I had originally thought the locking
mechanism was busted but I think the connection might just be bad as that
solution has been harder to achieve each time and now I can't get it to work
at all. I'm not exactly sure what to begin with when it comes to replacing as I
can't really tell what this is connecting to.

I should also add that the AC was serviced before I purchased it and had no leaks and the refrigerant was full
