Can you trade wiring harness and latch as well as keypad? into the replacement part? any jamb switch in play may be disturbed, but there are electrics with the other items in the part you removed. hope you still have the part you took off. You may have to drive with it to a bodyshop to complete the repair successfully.

Thank you but a friend of mine already advised me to do this and it worked like a charm. Now if I can only align it properly.
There can be adjusting tools used on some doors and it takes a body man a few seconds if it was the type I mean, the tool attaches to the striker in the jamb, and then to the latch. Then he applies his experience. Then he sits in the car and adjusts the top of the window frame using his hands and surgical skill. A ten dollar bill can be pulled through between the weatherstrip and the seal when it fits just right sometimes. He loves er up.

I got it done with a couple of thin washers on the bottom hinge.
