Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2003 CTS. will stall out while in motion. Engine will crank but will not restart. In about half hour it will restart and run for about 4-5 minutes and then stall out again. Diagnostic test did not find any error messages stores and they could not duplicate this problem. When I took the car back, on the way home it happened again I waited about 30 mins and it restarted. I was able to get it in to my garage and there it sits.

This may not be helpful but it seems the disappearing symptom syndrome is still alive and well at the garage and the doctor's office.

Did you try the crank sensor. When thr car dies out and you crank it and does the rpm needle move at all or bounce up and downif it does not move at all it's the crank sensor plus crank sensor codes never come up on the scanner
