I have a 2011 chevy Malibu. I was driving it on day, and
out of no where; it starts to loose speed while I'm driving
as if it's giving out of gas. There was gas in the car. So I
pulled over and turned the car off, after 5 minutes I started
the car again. It drove for about a mile before it did the
same thing. Got it towed to a shop and the mechanic said
he couldn't find anything wrong. What could it be? The
car drives and switches gears just fine.

You need to find a mechanic that is not so lazy. Did he check fuel pump pressure and do a fuel bleed down test? Check for any trouble codes? Look for vacuum leaks?
