Microphone doesn't work anymore

something was left on in my car and ended up killing the battery. After I got it
charged up and running again I noticed that ever since it had died the
microphone in my car doesn't seem to work. My phone is still paired via
bluetooth and I can make and receive calls and hear them talking but they
can't hear me.  I cannot use the voice commands either, as it says there is
no voice recognized. I have no idea what is wrong or how to fix the
microphone.  I disconnected the battery and let it sit for like 15 min as well
hoping that would fix it.
