The starter may be bad. Check to see how much current it draws when you try to start the car

*starting. Does it turn over real slow? if you keep turning the key over it eventually starts. on my car the alternator shoots 13.75V and the battery when car is off is at 12.70 so its not the battery. ive replaced the rear battery (looks like a motorcycle battery) in the trunk and that temporarily fixed it.

That little battery is an auxiliary battery. It keep things running when the car shuts off when you stop.

The engine light came on yesterday and today it didn't want to start . I got a message on the dashboard that said something about my remote start. I didn't even attempt to remote start my car, I just got in and press the start button. After a few minutes of just sitting there it started. Why is this happening?

The car won't start and turn the engine. I already checked the battery it's good. Replaced the starter and it still wouldn't starting. You take off the key and the locks from the door starts to unlock the doors. What could it be???

Check the wires to the fuse box in the trunk. Had this problem and had a burnt wire. Replaced the wire and it has started fine ever since

bf has a 2017 Malibu Lt everything was fine, was driving fine all of a sudden doesn't wanna start , the lights come on but when you push the push start button it doesn't wanna crank up. checked the quality of the battery and the voltage is really good. my dad is a diesel mechanic I called him last night to get him some insight and he thinks it may be the starter.
