Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2011 chevy malibu
won't start. It was  low on fuel
put 2.00 then drove a.little
ways less than 5 miles while it
turned off  and then right back
on I then put $2 more in drove
2 miles and it shut off
completely hadn't started
sinve.

I would suspect the fuel pump. The gas cools the pump and driving it with so little gas may have caused it to overheat.
