Ok Ed92626. I have replaced the Water Pump, Radiator, Coolant Sensor, The Thermostat and my purged the air from the system and there didn't appear to be any. I made sure that the new coolant sensor was installed correctly and I am still overheating. When I turn the car off and attempt to remove the radiator cap there is a lot of pressure, so I have to wait for it to cool down, as with any car. My next step will be taking it to have a pressure test done. Do you have any other suggestions? You may always call me and we can discuss my options 865-209-0213 im Joe. AND I AM NOT LOSING ANY FLUID!

Ok, Ed92626. My fans are working fine. When I turn the hot car off the fans run until it is cooled down. Maybe something electrical!. I know it is a very nice car to have so many problems out of. At any rate, I will keep u posted. I have found a motor for $900.00. I think I will just purchase the engine for install. But I will take it to the Cadillac dealership first and have them do a diagnostic. I really don't think it is too serious. But I may be wrong.

@ Js08016, Thank you! I have been told that it is cheaper to buy a motor and have it installed rather than do a costly repair ( blown head and gaskets). Think I will be ok... I am prepared to invest a little since I paid so little for the car and I knew that it had problems from the day of purchase. I am not discouraged.

I have all the Sam symptoms as you. Save your money.I have thoroughly researched this problem and your car is not actually overheating per say but coolant is being pressurized from the combustion chamber of the motor. Higher the pressure the lower the boiling point( laws of thermodynamics. All caused by the North star 4.6 Head gasket bolt problem that I believe should have been a recall! They know what there so Doing! Can't have those cadets on the road too long. Need to sell more. White collar thievery at its worst!
