1 size up is ok... your speedo will be of 5 mph or so
Okay. Let's pretend you're talking to someone that doesn't really know that much about rim sizes and the terms. What do you mean by speedo?
That's what I figured. That's weird to me rim size fucks with it. Would it off faster, slower, either or?
If you have a choice go to 235/35r20 they only change the speedometer 1.1% the ones you suggested change it 8% making your spedometer show 55 when you are going 60 225/35-20 3.1" 13.1" 26.2" 82.3" 770/mi 60MPH 10000mi N/A 235/45-20 4.2" 14.2" 28.3" 89.0" 712/mi 55MPH 9249mi 8.1% 235/35-20 3.2" 13.2" 26.5" 83.2" 762/mi 59MPH 9896mi 1.1% This chart came from www.powerdog.com
Sorry the numbers in the answer above did not stay in alignment making the information hard to read. Go to www.powerdog.com and enter the sizes plus the 2235/35r20 I suggested, you will see everything you need to know.
Those tires are not one size up as the side wall is also taller. The new tires will be 2.1" taller and 0.4" wider.
I have a 1992 Cadillac couple deville. I want to put some 24' vogue tires and rims on it. Will it work or do I need to modify something?
