Cold Air Intake

Cold air intakes can be tricky to install no matter who makes them because the filter is in the bumper in front of the fender. I personally wouldn't recommend a cold air intake because then you have to be weary about where you drive when it rains otherwise you risk sucking in water and water locking your engine. Plus when you make any type of engine modification to a subaru you need to tune the car. I say invest in a drop in high flow filter. The factory air boxes are efficient and this would save a lot of trouble.

cold air intakes are best in areas with high humidity and temp... just get the ram air because it will work very well with the stock intake if you remove the box... besides, installing a cold air intake you should also see if it fits behind the front bumper, otherwise you have to put on after market bumper...
