Question type: Maintenance & Repair
2011 Subaru Outback 2.5i with same issue. CEL and VSC lights on steady.
Cruise control and BRAKES blinking, AT oil temp blinking after I drive a few
hundred yards. Had a guy at Autozone replace my low and high beams a
week ago. Gas tank on empty/red yesterday. Filled it with portable gas
container. Oil low today. Had oil and filter done today. Checked gas cap.
Seems okay. Had codes pulled at Autozone.
PO700 Transaxle Control System (MIL Request),
P2764 Lock -up duty solenoid circuit (Low),
Any help gratefully accepted

I think you have CVT problems. You can have Subaru check it out but the only fix for a fried CVT is a new one. Sit down before they tell you the cost!
Not the news I wanted to hear, F_O_R. Thanks for the info. I had the torque converter replaced with the dealer a couple of years ago. Could it be related. Also had timing belt done last year.
I presume that the mileage on your car is well over 100,000.....how many miles do you have..?
I know it is not good news. Just saying the way it sounds to me. I would press them for a new transmission which Subaru should pay for since their CVT's are junk.
Car has 160,000, but there is a bulletin out for this exact issue. Bringing it to Subaru tomorrow to see if it will be taken care of.
Just had the valve body replaced for free under a bulletin that will expire in 2020. All lights out. Everything working as it should.
