Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need a 25728393 Cadillac Deville (2002) instrument cluster.  The one I have
lights up but does not function.  Shows "0" when driving at 60mph!  Also, the
AC blower shorted out and that part's inst. gauge.  I'd like to buy a used part
but how can I maintain my mileage of 74,853 instead of the used part's
reading of around 150-200K+???  What can I do? Please help!

I found out the problem before the dealer did! When this happens to your car check the speedometer wiring from the wheel junction box...after spending a fortune on replacing cluster panels to no avail I found a loose wire. Also, my turn signal problem was a blown fuse under the hush panel! BOTH REPAIRS SHOULD HAVE COST $11 AND ABOUT 20 MINS TOPS!
