Beware of CarGurus website!!!

Question type: General

I was set up with a fictitious car seller and was frauded out of $42,900.  I have no car, and no money!  This is NOT a safe site!!!!!  Double check EVERYTHING!

Why would anyone hand over any amount of money to anyone other than face to face, with title (all paper work) in hand? Idiot!, don't blame a laps in your judgement on an informative website. -dragcar-

Obviously foolish on my part...however the web site IS NOT SECURE! End of story! And for those of you that feel it is, totally be my guest. I'm just saying beware!

The listings that are here are taken from other web sites. My listing was from a local dealer and after finding my car here I went to them to test drive the car and then get financing. So actually it was not this sites fault that you found a bad deal.
