Brakes lock up without warning!

Asked by Gary Jun 29, 2020 at 02:56 PM about the 2011 Buick LaCrosse CX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The brakes lock up without warning and you can't move unless you press
accelerator to the floor.  Very dangerous especially when on a busy freeway.
This can be extremely life threatening with no warning.  Please fix with a recall.

My dads 2012 Buick LaCrosse has been doing this, Intermittent brakes locking up. It has done it driving down road. Seems than backing up often causes. He has paid to repair but same issue. I can hear something switching rear left tire sometimes while he tries to g.et the car to move, he gets different codes when brought to get fixed. They can’t seem to find the issue.
