Intermittently I am having a problem braking my 2011 Buick Lacrosse. The car feels as if it is going 60 miles an hour and I have to put extreme pressure on the brake to stop the car . The car RPMs

If I put the car in park and then back to drive the feeling of the car wanting to lurch forward and the load noise of the RPMs disappears.

try checking it out in a empty street... how many RPMs does it have when this surge is going? at idle.. rpms should be 650-700 . did u put on new tires? what tires are on the car now? tire pressure F/R? get all this info first to find possible causes. :)
