My tranny went out in my 2002 cadillac escalade
and I ordered another tranny what was shipped to
me was a 4l60f and I'm wondering can if it will
work

You need the exact correct part. Make sure the part number of the one you got is compatible with your car before installing it.

Where did you buy this transmission? Did you give them the VIN from your car?
