2011 Ford Explorer is the timing chain cover mounted to the frame of the car

I'm looking to buy an engine for my Ford
Explorer I found the engine in a damaged
vehicle that was damaged from the rear hit
pretty hard but the timing chain cover was
damaged I need to know is the timing chain
cover is mounted to the frame of the vehicle
and may have got damaged in the accident
