will turn over seems like it doesn't get enough
power to start. We had the alternator checked
that's fine as is the battery. Our air conditioner
stopped working. We drove it without air. Now it
won't start.

scan for codes even if the light ain't on , does it have spark ? make sure connections are tight .
How do you scan the codes. Would the air conditioner going out cause the truck to not start.
When starting the truck it drains the battery, right away.

can you charge the battery ? is it a new battery ? what about a jump start , I don't think the air conditioner is to blame but something else could cause the two problems , a short may be ?
We can charge the battery but when we try start it the battery goes dead. We had just bought the truck and the air went out and now it won't start.

get a new battery if the one you have is in any doubt , you may need a memory saver in the OBD port for when you disconnect it I'm not sure
