A/C

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My a/c is fully charged with coolant. The compressor
works properly but my a/c blows warm air unless I'm at
highway speeds. Once at highway speeds it begins blowing
cooler air. I had hoped it may be a cabin filter issue but it
doesn't have one. Help please it's hot in south georgia

It sounds as if your engine cooling fan isn't coming on. Do this turn the A/C on max with the hood open see if the fan comes on. If not suspect the A/C high pressure switch or a bad fan. Does the engine stay cool in slow traffic?
It can still be a cooling fan issue did you try what I said? I was also thinking of a blend door problem but lets do one thing at a time as I sip this beer.
What are the manifold pressure readings with the vehicle parked and AC running? Also need to know the ambient outside air temperature when you take the reading.
