How can I tell if my 2008 Ram 1500 is equipped with traction control

Run you VIN through one of the VIN-check web sites or call a dealer and ask..have VIN ready

Or turn on key to 'run' and look to see if there is a warning light for TRAC lit up. All warning lights should light up for at least a few seconds when key is in run position but engine not started

This was just a thumbnail and I tried to enlarge it but it gets so out of focus it's illegible ...there is a good image on page 5 but I can't copy from pdf file ...click on it and it's a little better

It will not show TRAC but rather ESP and under that BAS for Electronic Stability Program and Brake Assist System (from owners manual) . It is mentioned in the manual but always followed by "if equipped" www.dodge.com/download/pdf/manuals/2008-RamGas-4th.pdf

#20 if you bed/cargo lights. You should have a button next to your light dial left of the steering wheel that says cargo and when you press that then #20 comes on to let you know it’s on.

i have the esp and traction control light in my instrument panel but the people who bought it new didn't get the option. can you add it on or is it no able to be added on?
