I hav a 2008 dodge ran with 5.7 hemi it starts up an then shut down I don't know what to do fuel pump sound lik it's working help only had the truck for 5months

Well the obvious would be the gas, put a gas additive into the tank of gas that is an isopropyl base, not methanol, the isopropyl would break down any condensation or water mixed in. Another thing would to be to check the fuel pressure, not sure what it should be, but I can find out if need be. Change the fuel filter first.

I second what Rowefast says. You may also want to take a fuel sample from your truck to see how much of it isn't gasoline.

My 2008 Ram would start then shut off. I went swimming with the key in my pocket and it messed up the chip. I got my other key and the truck worked just fine.
