change to LPG ... will get better mpg ?

I intend to switch to LPG, approx.1000 dollars instalation

LPG will not get better mileage. LPG has less energy content (BTU) than gasoline. LPG does burn cleaner and engines running on LPG have very clean looking engine oil even after quite a few miles.
