2008 Ram 1500 sport 4x4 wiring

Asked by Jerry Nov 24, 2019 at 11:56 AM about the 2008 Dodge RAM 1500 SXT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am looking for the wiring diagram for the 4 wheel drive. my uncle has an
issue with his truck not going into 4 wheel drive. I'm most certain it is the
computer, but he won't listen. I need the wiring diagram so I can test if its
the computer or not. the transfer case has signal sent to it to lock in but the
front axle doesn't get any signal to lock in, but when I use my scan tool it
will lock the axle in. hence why I'm certain it is the computer not sending
signal to lock in. He already took it upon himself to replace the actuator on
the axle, transfer case and switch in the cab with none of them fixing the
issue. Again just need the wiring diagram so i can test for signals and
identify the issue correctly.

Following, cuz I need a diagram as well. Also, what scan tool did you use to test it with to get it to work?
