Cold Air Intakes are not always the answer for HP anyway. Any sensors unhooked or full of oil?

If it has a MAF sensor and it is an oiled filter like K&N it can take out your transmission. Seen them on a lot of GM Silverados!

The air injector hose is not hooked up on my catalytic converter however my EGR valve is bypassed it was like that when I bought it. What do I need to do because I'm losing power also it's got a bad case of the shimmies. I've changed the PCV valve and all. Afford to fix it all right now can I add this point cap that hose and if I can would it suffice until I can get one? Please help. Thanks I've added a picture below
