why is it so hard to stop the 2011 SRX

lots of foot pressure must be applied to the brake pedal to stop the car

May need to check vacume,s on brake booster,or could be bad brake booster,your car brakes should be easy pressed,especially caddy brake,s.

How many miles since last brake job. The SRX usually has very good brakes. Your pads may be getting worn or have a glaze on them. That will reduce braking power.
