Can’t find what’s causing this noise..

Asked by Neoncoughs Aug 13, 2019 at 01:24 AM about the 2011 Nissan Versa 1.8 S Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 Nissan Versa, when I start it it’s fine
but when I put it into drive about 1-2 seconds later
there is a single clunk. I can feel it in my brake
pedal and it seems to happen just about every
time I push my brake pedal. The noise is not
present over bumps and I had new rotors and
brake pads put in and the noise is still there. I’ve
tried just about every suspension test with the
wheels and pushing my car up and down, new
engine mounts and I can’t find what’s causing this.
Suggestions?

Checked my transmission, no problems, but I did find out the problem. Sway bar link! It was super loose, I can’t believe I didn’t notice it before when I was checking everything. Anyways new one in, easy low cost fix, No Problem Anymore!
