how much can i tow

2011 1500 LT 4wd suburban, 2 speed transfer case, heavy duty towing package,
5.3L v8--looking to purchase a travel trailer and do not want to get one that is too
large for my suburban

I believe it is 8200lbs, but personally, I have towed many miles with my burb and I have come to find that if you are going to regularly tow long distances and the trailer has high wind resistance 6000lbs is a good benchmark for a comfortable weight, anything beyond that (with significant wind resistance like a camper) and half tons start to struggle to keep speed up large hills, etc.
