Cruise Control Malfunctioning Mitsubishi 2011 Galant

Asked by Michael Apr 09, 2020 at 10:34 PM about the 2011 Mitsubishi Galant ES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my cruise control just recently gave out on my 2011 Mitsubishi Galant. It
was malfunctioning for a bit (I could turn it on and off and eventually it would
come on) Now when I try to turn it on, nothing happens. It's totally out. I
looked at the fuses, but to my knowledge there is not one for the cruise and
the one that may be it is good. What can possibly be wrong? Is there a relay
associated with the cruise? How can I tell? Thanks in advance for any input!

This is going to sound weird but check your brake lights. On my 93 Caprice if the third brake light burned out the cruise control would be disabled. Just a thought. Hope that helps! Jim
