A/c shuts off what cousing this

Ac works fine until I push button for rear cabin then ac system shuts off any
idea why this happens

Power or ground feedback from rear air module, rear AC fan drawing too much power causing shut down via BCM. There were a few GM's that had a problem with the main body connector wiring just for the rear AC system. I suggest you find a shop that knows about dual AC General Motors systems take a look at it. On my GM it was the rear fan motor.
