Can I put 5w30 synthetic oil because higher km between oil changes then what the Volkswagen recommends in my booklet 5w40

The lighter oil might cause the engine to use more oil but otherwise should be just fine. I think you can get synthetic 5W-40 so go with that if that is what VW recommends.

I have Ansol full synthetic oil,5qt..That oil was for another car II no longer have can I use that oil in my 2020 VW Jetta SE turbo.1.4 engine..Only 31,000miles on it
