Starting car without the key fob only physical key

I have only the physical key without the fob on a
2011 hinda accord its starts but such off right
away   Do i need the fob

Sounds like the security system is in active mode, check the owners manual for disarm procedures. You may need a fob if the security system is designed for one. Only a good locksmith or the dealer can tell you for sure.
