salvage

Asked by Scott Jan 13, 2020 at 08:13 PM about the 2011 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm going to look at a 2011 Accord tomorrow that has a salvage title . I don't
mind buying a salvaged accord because I plan on keeping it, and it has low
miles.  Front left fender was damaged and replaced, but there was no hood
damage.  Driver's airbag was deployed and professionally replaced.
Wondering if anyone can help me know what things to look for other than
normal used car inspection stuff, and any advice anyone has.  Thanks!

My advise is to have a mechanic look it over for you before purchase. But personally I would not buy a vehicle with a salvage title.

Salvage is a mistake. You may spend far more than you save trying to sort it out.
